FIVE MIN. POWER MESSAGE #71; Come Sunday will everyone be saved? 8-12-18

Will God save all people? Can a Christian believe that Jesus Christ came to save all, not just some?
“Come Sunday” was a 2018 Netflix original drama, based on the ministry of Bishop/Evangelist Carlton Pearson who was played brilliantly by Chiwetel Ejiofor (Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations for ‘12 Years a Slave’).
Pearson was a rapidly rising star among evangelicals until he was ostracized for coming to the belief and then preaching that there is NO HELL!
While I’m no Siskel and Ebert, I none-the-less give the movie and the doctrine two thumbs up and my own Rotten Tomatoes score of 100%! Give me five minutes to see why.

    • Hi Janice, thank you for your kind comments about my ministry at Julie Ferwerda’s book, Raising Hell (free pdf download for anyone interested, http://www.RaisingHellBook.com) I believe you are asking a sincere question, yet even those who may not be have asked the same, wanting to poke a hole in the doctrine, the belief that God can and will save all that He created.
I could write a book here (haha, Julie did!) but I am going to keep it simple. Everyone of us who has believed that Jesus is the Christ, the Savior, has kept on sinning after we believed, and we will until we die! Some sins are heinous, no doubt. I have no idea what could go on in their minds to bring them to the point that they could commit such atrocities.
God has established human government in part to punish those perpetrators, and has created divine laws such as sowing and reaping.
      Yet I do believe that:
      • God’s plan and will is to save all (2 Peter 3:9, Titus 2:11)
      • That every knee will bow and every tongue will swear allegiance to Him (Isaiah 45:23, Romans 14:11, Philippians 2:10-11, Revelation 1:7)
      • And that God will restore all (Acts 3:20-21) and reconcile all things (Colossians 1:19-20).
I do not believe that God is in the trash business but prefers to recycle, to reconcile and restore. To make “all things new” as per Revelation 21:5.
I hope this answer helps yo.
